NEW DESIGN JACK PADS for Musketeers and Sundowners

After my initial review (below) about the Jack Pads, Bogert Aviation Inc contacted me. They redesigned the pads by reinforcing the sides to prevents twisting. I tried them and work great. What happen with the old style, the plane was on jacks outside and stronger wind than what we have in the area, rocked the plane back and forth few times and the jack pads twisted causing damage under the wink. With the new reinforced design we tried to simulate the same scenario by rocking the plane back and forth while on the jacks and the new jack pads reinforced design but the jack pads passed the test 100%.
The pads are VERY strong and stable. At one point we even lifted the tail and pushed the plane forward few inches to put the jack pads to the unlimited test. The jack pads resting in front of the wink rivets did not move from that position or twist not even a little. The new design of Bogert Aviation Jack pads are rock SOLID. Highly recommended. Bogert Aviation Inc value customer's opinion. THANK YOU BOGERT.

    Unstable and flimsy. Not recommend

I purchased a set of those for my C23 Sundowner. They so flimsy (metal is very thin) one was twisted while on the jack and put a dent on the bottom of the wing. Not recommended. For pad jack like this I would not paid more than $50. To prevent them from twisting another thicker metal need to be welded on top of that for support.
