You have been there. You have a plane up on jacks and another plane comes in needing a quick tire Dragging out a full set of wing jacks is a pain, just to do a simple job.
change and your jacks are already in use. What do you do?
Bogert Aviation has been building a jack called the Tribal Jack because it was originally built to be a handy jack for Piper Aircraft. You know them as the Cherokee, Comanche, Aztec, Senica, etc. Little did Bogert Aviation Inc know that the design that they conceived of in 1987 would be so popular and it was used on other aircraft that were bigger and heavier. These airplanes needed to have a easy to use, portable jack for those that fly into airports without services and operators that don’t want to pay for the time it takes to do a three-point lift on a Navajo.
It was evident that something needed to be done for operators of the Beechcraft King Air Series and the Cessna 421C, 414, 425, 441, the Pilatus PC12 and the Piper PA46 models. Bogert Aviation designed portable axle pin system that safely lifts one wheel at a time for routine maintenance tasks.
The system is safe because the airplane never leaves the ground. It’s faster than wing jacks. It’s portable. Used with the 17M-LGSS2 safety stand, the aircraft is safe
