Michael, I don't know what method you wanted to have the tow pin kit shipped to you. The on line rates on our web site are programmed in by the shopping cart people based on most current information. We subscribe to a shopping cart service. We could not begin to keep up with the updates. You may have gotten an incorrect rate. It has happened before. It's possible that you could get a better rate or perhaps a different freight carrier to get something more reasonable. In order to do that, you will need to call in and talk to a human that can bypass the automated information. The Tow pin kit could have been mailed in a padded envelope.
